EXHORTATIONS FROM THE FATHER
["Reflections" Of The Father's Heart]
[january 11th 2008]
+ There
is a great danger of "self-importance" creeping into the lives of all
those who are called to walk and minister on the "front lines". For
it is in this place that My great and awesome power is most freely manifested
and, thus, unless one's eyes are fixed upon Me at "all" times to
carry out My will, one shall "begin to see", and then seek to retain,
their position of authority by their own striving. And, in their refusal to be
motivated solely by the Spirit of the Cross, that true authority shall become
false authority, as they strive to maintain their appearance before men, apart
from Me.
+ All those who
"take up arms" against flesh and blood, do not have My love abiding
in their heart. It is only as they take up the "true" weapons of
their warfare, and diligently "maintain" a revelation that their
struggle is NEVER against "flesh and blood", but against the
"principalities and powers" and the rest of the forces of wickedness,
that My children shall be found to be walking [abiding] in an absolute faith -
working through a perfect [absolute] love.
+ There are certain
things that My children can do to "facilitate" their staying on the
"narrow path" of perfect obedience, and should one of My children
seek Me in this matter I shall reveal to them those things that would be
"beneficial". An "ascetic" spirit - which outwardly seems
to be accomplishing the same thing [consecration] - is a
"counterfeit" because it has as its root the "belief" that
one can "succeed" in their own strength, understanding and good
intentions - without Me. One cannot truly deny themselves apart from the power
of the Spirit of the Cross.
"ascetic"
-
one who leads a very austere and self-denying life - especially for religious
purposes;
+ All
worry [anxiety] has its root in the fear of loss [Matthew 6:25-33].
JESUS:
+ It
is a "sin-consciousness" that attaches itself to My death but
refuses, through holding to a form of "unworthiness" [self-focus], to
enter into the fullness of the resurrection and ascension life [Ephesians
1:20-23] - that I have made possible for each one of My children. This is
not a ladder one climbs by their own efforts! As one "abides" in the
death of the Cross [obedience unto the denial of the self-life] so, THEN, the
life of the resurrection and the authority of the ascension shall be manifested
in their lives, and they shall be found continually operating from a
"righteousness-consciousness".
"sin-consciousness" - any belief or mind-set
that constitutes one "believing" that that which they have actually
been redeemed from is still to be in force in their life [Romans 8:1-2];
"righteousness-consciousness" - a continual awareness of who
we "actually" are in Christ [1 Corinthians 1:30; 2 Corinthians 5:17];
